Lillian Rouse-Thomas

Lillian Thomas - All through school I was never interested in sewing and was not aware of the art of quilting.  In the late 90's, I attended a workshop given by 5440 at the Newsome House.  During the session I made three quilted blocks, I was hooked.  I begin attending quilting classes, workshops and quilting retreats, learning new techniques and quilting skills.  I joined the guild in 2003 to continue to grow as a quilter and because the Sisters and Brother are so creative and talented, always willing to help.
