Patricia Johnson has had a long love affair with fabric. She says it began several years ago "when I began to make my own clothes." My first exposure to quilting was at a workshop with a very talented fiber Artist names Lethia Robertson. Years later when I moved to Hampton Virginia I joined the Golden Thimble Needlecraft Guild. which sparked my interest in quilting again along with other types of needlework. I soon realized that quilting and my love of fabric would be a perfect combination. I am a founding member of the 54-40 AAQG. I feel that my work has improved greatly from my association with the talented ladies in our Guild. My primary interest is in wall hangings and wearable Art. I was very fortunate to have one of my wall hangings included in the book "Spirits of the Cloth" by Carolyn Mazlommi. |
Below are three samples of my work.
