· At present most members of our guild have at least one quilt on display at the Hampton University Museum, Hampton, Virginia. This is a show of contemporary African American Quilts hung in conjunction with the Farmer-James collection of African American quilts some of which were made by slaves and dating from 1860-1947. The quilt show will hang until July 31, 2004.
· We look forward to another show at the Newsome House Museum and Cultural Center in Newport News, Virginia. Our next show at the Newsome House will open on July 24, 2004 and will hang until September 30, 2004.
· The guild has been invited by the Chrysler Museum in Norfolk, Virginia to participate with them during the Quilts of Gees Bend show opening October 15, 2004.
· The Black History Museum of Richmond, Virginia has invited us to show our quilts opening November, 2004.
