Cornelia Jones       

Cornelia Jones, better known a Nell, has always been a great lover of fabric.  Cornelia began sewing by making her own clothes.  When she stopped making clothes, she continued to carry on a productive affair with fabric by learning to quilt.  She began her first quilt in the nineties -- and it took ten years to complete.  Her next attempt at quilting was in 2002 while living in New York.  After relocating to Portsmouth, VA she had plenty of time to quilt.  Her day begins early in her quilting room at 5 a.m.  She loves piecing the quilt, selecting the fabric, and showing her work to family and friends and whoever will look.  She has made over one hundred quilts since December 2005. Quilting has become a great passion for her.
