Delores Hawkins       

Delores is a resident of Suffolk, VA, by way of Portsmouth, VA.    She had a love of quilts since high school, but did not become a serious quilter until 1993. She is a self-taught quilter who enjoys experimenting with contemporary designs in curve patterns and vibrant colors.  Since retiring in 2003, Delores had found quilting to be a relaxing, therapeutic hobby.  She loves collecting quilting books, shopping for interesting butterfly fabric, using colorful fabric patterns, and attending quilting retreats.  It is her desire to teach her grand children and others this fulfilling and rewarding craft
