Lillian Thomas
                      

 As a retired federal employee, Lillian became interested in    quilting in the early 90's.  Not having any idea of how to     begin quilting – or even knowing how to sew – she         enrolled in classes. She began taking classes an workshops with members of 54-40 and found her enjoyment for quilting.  She has attended classes, seminars and symposiums both in state and out.  And as any quilter will attest finds real joy in shopping for and selecting the right fabric for the project.  She loves traditional quilting, but is venturing out for new ideas
