Carol Bryant       

                                      Carol resides in Richmond, VA and became interested in quilting in 2005.  On her way to see a play while in   Lancaster
                                      County, PA, her curiosity was peaked when she had to wait for what seemed like hours as a large group of women  crossed the
                                      street on their way to the convention center for classes at the Lancaster County Quilt Show.  After returning home, Carol
                                      found a quilt shop that taught classes.  The rest is history.  Her interest is in making miniature quilts -- the main attraction
                                      being the mathematical calculations necessary for the eduction of full-sized quilts generally to quarter size.  Upon joining the
54-40 African-American Quilters Guild, Carol has fulfilled her desire for a guild that has spoken to and encouraged her creative abilities.
