Carolyn Floyd       

Carolyn’s interest in textiles developed during her high school     years and has continued to fascinate and intrigue her.  Following   completion of a sampler quilting class in the mid-nineties, Carolyn’s launched her creative endeavors into quilting, appliqué and embroidery.  She is inspired by fabric designs and artwork through the use of threads and fabrics.  Her quilts have been exhibited in numerous group exhibitions.

Floyd received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Bennett College in Greensboro, NC and a Masters in Information Science fro Western Michigan University.  She also completed requirements for the Executive Middle Management Program at Simmons College in Boston, Massachusetts.
